This Ti-Sapphire laser system will be utilized as a part of TARLA pump-probe system. However, before matching with FEL, it will serve to users by oneself.

TARLA consist of a Transient Absorption Spectrometer (TAS) with following options;

  • Addition of near infrared probe and camera

  • Support for external pump source such as an OPA, NOPA, or harmonics generator

  • Delay range (up to 8.5 ns)

  • Automated system alignment/realignment using patented GuideStar™ technology

  • Reference channels for monitoring and correcting probe fluctuations

  • Sample holder – moving stage or thin flow cell with pump

  • Automated pump power control – shutter or motorized filter wheel

  • Pump reference – useful for very noisy OPAs

  • Parabolic mirror to replace concave mirrors

  • Femtosecond stimulated Raman spectroscopy (FSRS) upgrade

  • Two-dimensional visible spectroscopy upgrade (2D-Vis)

  • Femtosecond Stimulated Raman Spectrometer

* The timing jitters shall be respect to Master Oscillator that has jitter better than 7fs  timing hitter available at TARLA site.
