The accelerator will mainly consist of an injector that provides high current CW electron beam at 250 keV, two superconducting (SC) accelerating modules separated by a bunch compressor in order to accelerate beam to 10-40 MeV energy. Between the cryomodules, a magnetic chicane, called bunch compressor, is utilized to enhance bunch peak current. The bunch compressor optimizes micropulse duration and energy spread of the beam by cavity phasing. TARLA beamline has been planned to obtain minimum bunch length around 1-2 ps at maximum electron beam energy. Subsequently, two secondary particle generation stations will follow the accelerator; gamma radiation and free electron laser (FEL) lines. Figure shows the schematic view of main accelerating section.
