With the aim of creating and increasing the capacity to produce high technology by providing accelerator-based research opportunities to basic via applied and engineering research units, we are looking for personnel suitable for the following job description to work in the Turkish Accelerator and Radiation Laboratory (TARLA), which is being established in Ankara University Gölbaşı Campus.
Qualifications and Experience:
Graduated from Physics, Physics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Departments with master’s or Ph.D. degree preferably having dissertation on beam physics.
Proficiency in using beam dynamic software tools such as Elegant, Parmela, Superfish, Astra, Beam Optics, Opa, etc. and numerical analysis tools such as MatLab, Mathematica, AutoCAD, Molflow, etc.
Hands-on experience on electron gun systems, high precision beam-line integration, magnetic field measurement in high field applications, high vacuum / ultra high vacuum application and maintenance including operating vacuum and leak measurement devices
